Berlin Art Week is the highlight of the Berlin art year. Every year, for one week in September, it presents the works of the most important players on the contemporary art scene in Berlin - both well-known artists and exciting new discoveries.
The city's art scene is presented in its entire spectrum at fairs, exhibitions and events: Museums and art associations open their doors, as do private collections, project spaces and galleries. The numerous venues are located throughout Berlin and show the latest artistic positions, inspire with screenings and performances.
