Museums

Berliner museums house cultural masterpieces of world heritage, such as the Pergamon Altar or the bust of Nefertiti. They also present highlights of the visual arts, or impart major history and minor histories – as in the German Historical Museum, the GDR Museum or the many local history museums. However, not only the arts are put onto the scene in Berlin museums: since August 2009 even the currywurst has its own museum! Download here the PDF with information about the opening hours of museums at Easter and Pentecoste.
