A dance homage

M.C. Escher created some of the most intellectually stimulating images of all time. His works deal with the representation of perspective impossibilities; they have their origins in paradox, optical illusion or ambiguity.

Escher shakes up certainties and supposed certainties and invites us to look at and question social realities critically. In a visually stunning dance performance, choreographer Linda Weißig traces Escher's legacy.

Together with the sound and video designer Adi Kum, his complex worlds of images are translated into movement and sound.
