The city festival marks the closing of the jubilee festivities on the occasion of Berlin's 775th anniversary.
After the official ceremonial act in Berlin‘s oldest parish church, the St. Nicholas' Church, the historical city center will be put into focus with light and sound installations. At the whole weekend street trader offer their products within the middle age scenery of Nikolaiviertel.

One highlight of the jubilee festivity is the Compagnie Carabosse with their "Installation de Feu". They are going to illuminate the centre of Berlin. At nightfall visitors are guided with music, rythms and fire installations alongside the histrical border of Berlin to St. Mary's Church, Neptune Fountain or St. Nicholas' Church.

In the same area the biggest open air theater of Germany is going to perfom inspiring and impressive situations and scenes. The street theatre group Titanick stages middle age visions of the beyond.
