Salsa in Berlin

Salsa fans have numerous opportunities around Berlin to swing their hips to some hot sounds. Sodaclub at the Kulturbrauerei offers dance classes every Thursday and Sunday in salsa, kizomba and mambo. Immediately following, the salsa party gets started, giving you a chance to try out the steps you just learned. Tuesdays, the Grüner Salon at the Volksbühne opens its doors to the Salsalón salsa party. Beginners and advanced dancers can dance the night away for free while learning the most important dance steps. For many years, Havanna has been THE meeting place for salsa fans in Berlin where they move to the rhythms of Latin music on four dance floors. A varied programme and live concerts bring in the crowds. Admission is free on Fridays. Every Tuesday night, dance instructors at 11n Lounge help students learn to move to rhythms from Latin America. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced learner, everyone is welcome. Admission is free and the salsa party starts right after the lesson.

Dancing under the Open Sky

Diamond Beach is located directly on the north shore of the Plötzensee. Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, DJs lay on the rhythms of mambo, salsa, bachata and kizomba. The salsa party gets started after a brief instruction in the main dance steps.
