Unlike other German cities, Berlin has no official closing time. There is always something happening in the German capital: discover the best parties, live concerts and nightlife districts.
Club Culture & Parties in Berlin
Berlin’s clubs have long been more than just places to dance - they are spaces of freedom, creativity, and subculture. Their story is inseparably tied to the city’s upheavals, with techno emerging as the soundtrack of a new era after reunification. Today, Berlin’s club culture is even recognized by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage.
And by the way: whatever your musical taste, Berlin has a party or event series for you.
The Latest from Berlin’s club scene
Berlin’s club scene is constantly evolving: despite many challenges, a surprisingly large number of new venues for partying, listening to music and exploring are currently springing up.
On 30 October 2026, for example, the Parisian club Silencio is set to open a seven-month pop-up in the former premises of the Watergate. Silencio Berlin is due to celebrate its 15th anniversary there by May 2027. Those involved in the club’s redesign include Studio Karhard – which also designed Berghain – as well as Marc Leschelier, Studio Raito and Bureau Borsche.
Also new in 2026 are the large-scale club AMT in the S-Bahn arches at Alexanderplatz, the intimate Mikropol in Schöneberg and the unusual C115 in the historic AVUS grandstand in the west.
At the same time, existing clubs are continuing to evolve, with icons such as the Renate remaining secure. And exciting collectives are establishing new party series – even if only for a short time – but with plenty of art, culture and other ideas that go far beyond the turntables.
During the festival week marking Club Culture Day , from 3 to 11 October 2026, you can discover the most exciting ideas and venues under the motto “STAY CORE”: unconventional, rebellious – and quintessentially Berlin!
