Lippenstift-Museum (Lipstick Museum) René Koch
Lippenstift-Museum (Lipstick Museum) René Koch
Everything that encompasses the seductive lippenrouge
A cultural history of the lipstick from 1883 until today! The museum is a homage to the ladies seductive and most used make-up item. Star make-up artist René Koch opens his private lipstick collection to visitors.
The one of a kind collection includes lipsticks from Hildegard Knef (salmon-coloured) and other socialites. Even a half dozen lipsticks from Evita Peron can be admired here, which he bought at auction after the decline of the South American icon, to this, old posters such as Knef’s “Volks-lipstick”, DDR lipsticks as well as 125 real lip kissed cards by socialites including Mireille Mathieu, Bonnie Tyler and Brigitte Nielsen.
The collection can be viewed only after registering and with a tour by René Koch during which one can hear anecdotes all about the stars and starlets—for every lipstick, there is guaranteed a story!
