The Deutsches Historisches Museum Berlin (DHM) is the official national history museum of the Federal Republic of Germany. The museum’s objective is to present German history from its beginnings to the present day in terms of its international impact as well as its regional diversity.

In permanent exhibitions, more than 8000 historical objects on 7500 sqm tell stories of political events, confrontations and also of social, economical and philosophical developments. On its two floors, the extensive collection provides multimedia information points and educational offerings for a deeper understanding of the exciting and eventful history of Germany in a European context from its very beginnings to current times.

The fascinating architecture of the annex building, constructed by the Chinese-American master architect I. M. Pei, houses ever changing exhibitions on four floors with a total of 2700 sqm.

Deutsches Historisches Museum Berlin

This is one of the most fascinating and comprehensive museums I have ever visited.
Its displays are state of the art modern and never dull or dusty. It can be seen in one day, but a serious visitor will want to take two days to digest all of it. The WW Two section is most informative for those of us born after the event. I can't wait to get back.

I have two prints from artist Carl Zimmermann dating back to 1897 printed by MeisenbachRiffarth & Company, Berlin. These are registered and signed prints. One is titled: Zur Futterung and the other, Verspasted.
Can you tell me anything about these prints? How can I have them appraised?
Would appreciate a reply.
Auf Wiedersehen
