Badeschiff an der Arena

Europe's most unusual beach bar

A visit to the bathing ship is currently only possible with a pre-booked online ticket with a fixed time slot.

The Badeschiff is one of the most extraordinary beach bars in Berlin and is a symbol of the modern, creative city. The large pool floats on the Spree in front of Arena Berlin and guests enjoy the panoramic views of the city centre. A wooden footbridge with hammocks connects the barge containing the pool to the river bank where guests can enjoy the sun on fine sand. The bar offers a variety of summer cocktails and barbecue for a long, relaxing stay.

Swimming in the Badeschiff pool

The Badeschiff is ideally suited for a refreshing dip in cool waters on a warm summer's day. The combination of outdoor pool and beach bar draws many sun-seekers to relax on the banks of the River Spree. The sky-blue swimming pool with fresh water is a converted 30 metre barge with a water depth of 2.05 metres under the watchful eye of a lifeguard. For children, there is an additional area where they build sandcastles and play in the splash pool.

SUP Yoga near the Badeschiff

The Badeschiff proves once again that Berlin truly is a sports town and offers wide range of sports across the city. The Stand Up Paddle Berlin offers SUB Yoga classes. In addition, massages and other sports courses are on offer.

A day on the beach at the Badeschiff

In addition to Stand Up Paddling and SUP Yoga classes, you can also simply relax for an afternoon at the Badeschiffes. With your feet in the sand and a cocktail in your hand, enjoy the view over the Spree on the deck of the Badeschiff.
