Arsenal - Institute for Film and Videokunst e.V.

The native home of the cineastes: the Arsenal is the rich in tradition art-house cinema of the friends of the Kinemathek. Since 2000, it is located in the newly opened Sony Centre. Here, old films and films from all parts of the world are shown, usually in original un-dubbed version. Every year a new Magical History Tour is shown: time after time a fascinating passage through the history of film, from silent cinema until today, within 356 films. During the Berlinale, forum films run here.
