From the airport to the city
Berlin's Tegel airport in the north-west of the city is just five kilometres from the City West district. The shortest routes from the airport to the underground network are via the 109 and 128 buses to Kurt-Schumacher-Platz (U6) or Jakob-Kaiser-Platz (U7) stations. There is also a bus service to the suburban railway and underground station at Jungfernheide (S41/S42). In addition to the regular bus services, the JetExpressBus TXL offers a particularly fast link to the city centre, e.g. to Hauptbahnhof. In addition, the Expressbus X9 takes you to the Zoologischer Garten station, stopping at just a few selected stations along the way.
