Programme diversity in spacious premises
The Russian House of Science and Culture boasts a number of impressive spaces: a concert hall with approximately 500 seats, a cinema, four exhibition spaces and a music salon. Every year, the wide range of events on the programme provides inspiration for up to 200,000 visitors. In addition to Russian films, theatre and ballet, there are also language courses on the programme, and it is even possible to register to study in Russia.
Special events and educational activities for children
What’s more, there is also a recreational programme for children: they can learn Russian through games, and they can dance, sing, read and put on plays in the theatre. The focus is placed on having a go and getting in on the fun.
20,000 books and films
A special place at the Russian House is the library: more than 20,000 books, along with film material on DVD and CD, are available to visitors. The majority of books are in Russian, however there are also numerous German-language works as well. Furthermore, the library subscribes to 19 Russian-language newspapers and magazines.
