Surrounded by the charm of old industrial halls, you can stroll between Christmas-decorated stalls at the Reinbeckerei art and creative market. Sheltered under the roof of the Reinbeckhallen, over 30 traders offer their works of art and creative one-offs - from clothing to jewellery, ceramics and illustration art to home-grown plants.
Other stands provide some rather unsusal christmas surprises. For example you will be pampered with a relaxing hand massage or have your portrait painted by a painting robot. And of course there will also be plenty of food and drink: local restaurateurs from the Oberschöneweider Kiez will be serving you sweet and savoury treats, mulled wine, punch and other Christmas delicacies.
A festival for all the senses
Organised by the SchöneVibes collective, a neighbourhood initiative from Schöneweide, the focus of this market is on shared experiences. In addition to the craft market, there is also a colourful cultural programme every year. Singers, songwriters and professional musicians provide entertainment, as do the organ grinder and the daddies from the local kindergarten.
The little ones can look forward to a visit from the Christmas leprechaun, who will collect their Christmas wishes with his companion.
The grand finale on both days of the Christmas market is the spectacular fire show by the Feral Fames duo. And on Sunday, the JustMad BigBand will get you in the mood with swing and soul.
