There's probably no other place in Berlin that offers as many shopping centres in one spot as Potsdamer Platz. Whether it's the Potsdamer Platz Arkaden, the Mall Of Berlin or the Sony Center, every shopaholic will find plenty to do here.
Please note: Due to the current situation you are currently obliged to wear a mask with mouth and nose cover on these streets.
Since 1998, the three-storey Potsdamer Platz Arkaden has been home to a wide selection of shops for fashion, cosmetics and accessories, a variety of restaurants and snack bars. The food court is a particularly popular spot to meet for lunch. You can dine and shop all under one roof at this shopping centre. With more than 270 stores, the nearby Mall Of Berlin is one of the largest shopping centres in all of Berlin. Covering a sales area of approx. 76,000 m2, luxurious designer stores such as Hugo Boss or Karl by Karl Lagerfeld stand shoulder-to-shoulder with labels like Gina Tricot and Zara. The Sony Center, on the other hand, is not a shopping centre in the classic sense. Consisting of a complex of seven steel-and-glass buildings and a unique roof structure, the Sony Center with its cinemas, film museum and the Legoland Discovery Centre is primarily an entertainment centre. It also houses the European headquarters of Sony and exquisite restaurants.
