Early on in the Kalkscheune, fire extinguishers were screwed together. Today, the Heritage Protected former industrial building behind the Friedrichstadt Palace is a well known Berliner party location. One of the most popular Kalkscheune events bears the title “Fish Looking for Bicycle”. Here, every 14 days, Berliner singles meet to frolic through the “Love Lounge” and across the three dance floors of the house.
