It was time for a change after ten years: Nina Queer, one of the most famous drag queens in Berlin, moved her club night Irrenhouse from the Geburtstagsklub to the Comet Club. The reason was the huge success of the gay club night - just too many people came. T
he party has been held in a new venue since 2012, where it still enjoys the same success and plays the same tried and tested mix of pop and house music. Three dance floors, a cinema, darkrooms, male dancers, and drag queens pushing shopping trolleys full of sweets are just a few of the special features of the Irrenhouse. It's mostly a young crowd that flocks to the party, which is held on the 3rd Saturday of every month.
