Vincent Kliesch was born in Berlin-Zehlendorf, where he still lives today. After graduating from high school, he first learned the trade of a restaurant manager before turning to stand-up comedy in 2003. After appearing on the Sat.1 casting show Star Search, Quatsch Comedy Club and Nightwash, among others, he later became a presenter at Filmpark Babelsberg in Potsdam, where he worked regularly until 2018.

In 2010, he launched his first successful thriller series with the bestseller "Die Reinheit des Todes," and other thrillers followed. With "Auris" he wrote the novel to a radio play idea of his friend Sebastian Fitzek. The second part, "Die Frequenz des Todes" (The Frequency of Death), and the third part, "Todesrauschen" (Death Noise), were published at intervals of one year.
