Notagallery presents the solo exhibition “Unexpected Unpredictability” by Kedimari. This is the artist's first solo exhibition at the gallery, following her debut in the group exhibition “Ambivalent” in 2023.

Kedimari's figurative paintings depict a fascinating play between reality and fantasy, captured in vibrant colors and unique shapes. The works, influenced by Kedimari's Transylvanian roots and the influence of Expressionism, portray the emotional landscapes and complex experiences of being human. Using a palette of deep indigo, bright red and intense yellow, she explores themes of inner conflict, cultural diversity and the primal aspects of human nature such as fear, desire and contradictions.

In “Unexpected Unpredictability” Kedimari shows the abundance of unpredictable moments in everyday life and in interpersonal encounters and reveals the fascination in every color tone, every situation and gesture. In an era defined by digital connections and virtual worlds, the artist captures the essence of seemingly everyday activities. Every work of art is a moment, a single act in the theater of human existence, in which individuals, despite their differences, find themselves in shared feelings.

Through Kedimari's eyes, viewers are encouraged to reconsider and interpret the scenes of their everyday life. The exhibition encourages us to discover the extraordinary in the everyday and to celebrate the incalculable diversity of human experiences.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Notagallery. The exhibition will then be open to the public from March 9th to 21st, 2024.
