The Ukrainian singer Ludmila Krupska sings songs from Eastern Europe with her wonderful, passionate voice, virtuously accompanied by guitarist Alexey Krupsky and accordionist Michael Saposchnikow.

Ludmila Krupska started as a pop singer in her hometown Kiev. She has lived in Berlin since 1996. She performs regularly at numerous musical events and interprets French chansons, Russian romances and gypsy songs, Yiddish songs and world folklore in several languages.
Alexey Krupsky was born in Kiev (Ukraine) in 1978. At the age of 7 he received his first guitar lessons from the well-known Ukrainian jazz guitarist and pedagogue Vladimir Molotkov. From 1993 to 1996 Alexey studied at the R.M.Glier Music School (violin and jazz guitar) in Kiev. He then studied jazz guitar at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. Already during his studies he had many appearances in Berlin jazz clubs, played at various jazz festivals and made film music recordings for ZDF, ARTE.
The Café Lyrik in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg offers live music in an intimate, cosy atmosphere four days a week. The café is only open for the four selected concerts in the areas of chanson, klezmer, tango and jazz from Wednesday to Saturday from 7 pm.
