Curator's tour of the special exhibition with Samuel Wittwer, SPSG

For years, experts and the public debated the reconstruction of the ceiling painting in the White Hall of Charlottenburg Palace before Hann Trier's modern design was executed in 1972. The conflict was a burning mirror of conflicting ideas about how to deal with lost cultural heritage, the decision a turning point in the history of the building.
