Sahra Wagenknecht is the political shooting star of 2025. With her newly founded party, the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance, the former Left Party politician has managed to enter the European Parliament and participate in government in Brandenburg and Thuringia from a standing start. Wagenknecht also wants to make it into the Bundestag with her offer – left-wing in terms of social policy, conservative in terms of social policy and clearly against military support for Ukraine.
