British musician, producer and engineer Dennis Bovell is well known in the reggae and dub music scene. He rose to prominence in the 1970s as a member of the band Matumbi and went on to produce for numerous reggae and punk artists including The Slits and The Pop Group. His influence on the development of the UK dub and reggae music scene is significant.
