A historical and urban ecological journey of discovery across the former runway of Tegel Airport

Find out more about the soil-related peculiarities of this location, as well as how to deal with munitions and contaminated sites. You will also learn about the underground connections in the ecosystem that are not directly visible and the urban ecological significance of large, undeveloped open spaces.

You are cordially invited to this earth-bound nature experience!

For anyone who would like to know more about the transformation of the Tegeler Stadtheide in advance, there is even more comprehensive information on the Green Berlin website.
