The band Rotatonics plays a unique mix of cinematic chanson and tango and uses - in addition to piano and guitar - unusual instruments (lap steel guitar, harmonica, organ, 5-string banjo and singing saw) to create their extraordinary soundscapes.

The current album "The Lost Key" combines themes from Federico Fellini's films with stories and sounds to create a kind of musical novel and has been nominated for the German Record Critics' Annual Award 2024.
