to the special exhibition "Woodcut. 1400 until today"

Woodcut is the oldest printing technique in the world. Large formats are just as possible with this process as detail-obsessed miniatures or multi-colored motifs. Those interested will learn from curator Christien Melzer details about the origins of the exhibition, about saints and rhinoceroses, wallpapers and pamphlets, about woodblocks and traces of printing that have remained visible.
