The musical adventure of the Poets Of The Fall twenty years ago. Singer Marko Saaresto sold everything he owned to invest in his band project with his friends, jazz guitarist Olli Tukiainen and industrial keyboardist Markus Captain Kaarlonen. They set up their own studio in Captain's living room and their office in Tukiainen's car.

During the first recording sessions they developed their sound, this sparkling mix of pop, rock, metal and industrial. At the same time, Saaresto's friend Sam Lake asked him to set a poem to music so he could use it in a computer game. "Late Goodbye" became a worldwide success thanks to its use as the central song in "Max Payne 2" and Poets Of The Fall became stars. The rest is music history.
Together with guitarist Jaska Mäkinen, bassist Jani Snellman and drummer Jari Salminen, the band has been one of the most popular Finnish acts for two decades now.
