The poet, painter and poetry performer RAN has performed at the Red Salon many times. He reflects a broad range of the human species in a provocative, unique style. From drama to humor, from the metaphysical to the surreal. He also shows in an uncompromising way the distortion, the contradiction, the loneliness, as well as the excess, the illusion, the euphoric side of a metropolis.

Yael Elbee is a director who first met RAN in 2016, and over the years they have developed an unexpected and unique friendship. Her film is an energetic montage that cleverly weaves together selected archival footage and clips from nonchalant encounters over the years.

This film serves as a tribute to RAN's artistry. His unique personality is linked to his singular art form, and he stands as a rare example of unwavering devotion to his authentic self.
