"Younger Than Jesus" was the title of a New York exhibition featuring artists who were younger at the time of the exhibition than Jesus of Nazareth was when he died. Generation "Y" seeks and finds its visual forms of expression on the screen, a modified mirror.

But the uninterrupted gaze on the smartphone leads to distortions of the image of man, a momentous lack of conception of space, time and the body.

Do we still recognize man as a physical being, let alone as the image of God?

The artist Ralf Ziervogel, known for his apocalyptic pictorial worlds, places the distortions of our image of man at the center of a spatial drawing in the context of the Passion season: The fuse has been lit.
