The unique event opens its gates on 31 December at 2 p.m. and closes on 1 January at 3 a.m. in the morning. Due to the security controls, we advise you to make your way to the Brandenburg Gate by 7 p.m. The entrance to the legendary party is free for all visitors. As a result, the event can become overcrowded, so admittance control is required for safety reasons. It is therefore worthwhile to get there in a timely manner in order to fully enjoy the partying to come.
You will be celebrating and dancing in the open air, so remember to wear warm clothes and take an umbrella to ensure you enjoy a carefree end of the year. Due to the restricted traffic situation, it is essential to get there by public transport. All six security entrances are easy to reach by U-Bahn or S-Bahn: Bellevue, Tiergarten, Potsdamer Platz and Friedrichstrasse are situated close to Strasse des 17.
