The Franz Trio was founded in Berlin in 2017. Avigail Buskevitz, Ernst-Martin Schmidt and Constance Ricard met each other during their time in the Konzerthausorchester. The talented musicians come from South Africa, Germany and France.

Their first concert together was a performance of the B flat major Trio D 581 by Franz Schubert, a composer they sincerely admire and whose name they therefore chose for their ensemble. Since then they have been delighting their audiences with regular concerts in Germany and France, in which they express their musical passion and skills.
