Conversation with Dr. Lucy Wasensteiner, Dr. Jenny Graser, Heinrich Carstens, Grit Jehmlich and Dr. Christine Landbrecht

192 valuable drawings by French and German artists from the 19th and 20th centuries: Karl Parker, then director of the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, could hardly believe his luck when he discovered the size and quality of Grete Ring's drawing collection, which had been donated to the museum was bequeathed in 1954.

Grete Ring was an art collector who did not concentrate on paintings but exclusively on drawings. In this master class, Dr. Lucy Wasensteiner, Dr. Jenny Graser (curator of contemporary art, Berlin State Museums - Prussian Cultural Heritage, Kupferstichkabinett), Heinrich Carstens (director of Paper Positions), Grit Jehmlich (restorer Liebermann-Villa) and Dr. Christine Landbrecht (Art Program Manager, Schering Foundation) introduces us to the world of paper.

Find out more about the art market and ask the experts what to look out for when buying and storing drawings.
