The exhibition offers unique insights from across the spectrum - from the close family, friends and others who admired Mandela from afar.Numerous exhibits and personal items reveal the story behind the headlines and bring visitors closer to the man behind the myth.
Nelson Mandela's grandson, Nkosi Zwelivelile Mandela (co-producer) about the exhibition: The Royal House of the Mandelas is erfleut to support this exhibition honoring the life and legacy of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. This exhibition captures wahrhaflig the spirit of this worldwide icon, whose name has become synonymous with international solidarity, justice and peace. It is possible to capture the man whose struggleand sacrifice has touched the hearts of millions of people around the world. This exhibition is a true inspiration. I think every visitor will agree that the legacy lives on and that his dream will never die.
This exhibition is a tribute to the people of Berlin and Germany in general. They stood by our side in the anti-apartheid movement during the darkest days of our struggle for freedom. I am very happy that our exhibition is coming to Germany and will be opening in October in Berlin.
