Online: Reading poems with 70 poets

The video project Lyrikschaufenster of the Haus für Poesie starts on March 15. In 70 ten-minute videos, poets will each talk about a poem that they have selected from the lyrikline.org platform and to which they have a special relationship in terms of content or form.

The contributions are available in a media library on the new website. Ten videos will go online today, followed by ten more in the middle of each month until the end of the year.

The project is aimed at schools, German language courses and other areas of cultural education, as well as private poetry enthusiasts in general, and offers a comprehensive, artistic approach to contemporary poetry. Each poet has recorded his or her own poetry and chosen his or her own original way of dealing with it.

The first ten contributions in the Lyrikschaufenster are by the poets Mirko Bonné, Róža Domašcyna, Karin Fellner, Kerstin Hensel, Anna Hetzer, Uwe Kolbe, Olga Martynova, Kerstin Preiwuß, Jan Wagner and Christoph Wenzel.
