Kyiv Grand Ballet - Swan Lake

The Kiev Grand Ballet has been one of the most successful companies in the international ballet world for ten years. Founded in Kiev in 2014 by Alexander Stoyanov, the ensemble stands for classical ballet art at the highest level. The dancers have received numerous awards and have enchanted people on famous stages from Paris to New York. The ballet troupe regularly tours the USA, South America, Australia, Asia and Europe.

In January 2025, the Kiev Grand Ballet will be visiting Germany for the third time. With Tchaikovsky's masterpiece "Swan Lake" and with Ana Sophia Scheller as a "special guest".

The Argentinian star ballerina began ballet training at the age of six and received the Presidential Scholarship for Cultural Excellence in Classical Dance at the age of 13. From Buenos Aires she moved to the New York City Ballet, where she was also appointed principal. Her travels as a guest and gala artist have taken her to stages all over the world, from Singapore to Sicily to San Francisco. She will play Odette in Swan Lake with the Kiev Grand Ballet.

"Swan Lake" is one of the most famous and popular ballets in the world. The plot revolves around Prince Siegfried, who falls in love with the swan princess Odette. She was turned into a swan by the evil sorcerer Redbeard.
