With a detective's eye on the immediate environment, participants are invited to develop their own biotope and invent an organism, a dream world, an alternative to reality. They explore the environment and nature with the camera and create their own photographic collection in order to create something new from it.
The collection may consist of patterns and structures or details from technical, architectural, organic or fantastic discoveries. In order to be able to grow your own inventions, the image worlds you find serve as material for collages, can be exaggerated or transformed into three-dimensional objects. The researchers are inspired by the Image Ecology exhibition at C/O Berlin in Amerika Haus.
All inventions can be taken home after the workshop and the self-filled collection can of course be used for further research.
