The Jonas Friese Quartet, existing since 2017 and consisting of Marc Doffey, Leon Plecity, Elias Weber and Jonas Friese, interprets the bandleader's compositions.

The multifaceted themes and the constellation of tenor saxophone/bass clarinet, guitar, double bass and drums offers plenty of room for individual playing ideas and allows for a dialogue between the musicians in which everyone can freely contribute and react.
The four musicians met in Berlin and are graduates of the renowned Jazz Institut Berlin and the Hfmt Cologne.
Through an open style of playing with elements of the jazz tradition, they create a colorful band sound that is carried throughout the varied program.
Free entry – it is suggested to give some money if you like the band.
