Veranstaltungen in Berlin: Jacke Wie Hose und Dat Muddi

Jacke Wie Hose

The punk rock band of seven from the Potsdam area formed 17 years ago. Their goal is to produce music with ease and not with perfection, according to the motto Jacke wie Hose (engl. "That's six of one and half a dozen of another"). You can feel this freedom in their songs like DIESE WAND STÜRZT EIN (engl. This Wall Comes Down), BADESPAß (engl. Bathing Fun) und GUTER MANN (engl. Good Man).

Claudia Russo aka. Dat Muddi

Before you know it, you're suddenly wearing a second name. For the Berlin-based DAT MUDDI, music and art are both valves and survival strategies for coping with her everyday life. She uses different genres like reggae and hip hop. In her songs she sings, partly in chant, about the challenges in her life with the aim of encouraging others.
