Just 15 months lay between their first album and the second record. So the band from Dublin sets quite a speed pace. Already after the first few singles, the indie rockers were stars in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
By July 2021, their debut album "It Won't Always Be Like This" was already climbing to number one on the charts. This was followed by top slots at Glastonbury and Lollapalooza, places opening for the Arctic Monkeys, Sam Fender or Harry Styles.
Now comes "Cuts & Bruises" the second record of which singer and guitarist Elijah Hewson, guitarist Josh Jenkinson, bassist Robert Keating and drummer Ryan McMahon say is exactly "the album we always wanted to make."
The sound of the early songs between straight rock and dramatic post-punk was just the beginning of their sonic adventure. Inhaler still has the dirty and the psychedelic, but the sound now shines in new splendor.
