Music in the Echo of Cultures
Holm Birkholz, former member of the Berlin Philharmonic, presents music in this concert that is inspired by the diversity of the different cultures that he traveled to as a musician in his professional life and that inspired the composer in him to create the works that will be performed this evening.

The virtuoso solo violin in combination with Latin American percussion, Asian singing bowls and elements of swing from the 1930s invites us on an exciting sound journey around the world: via France, Italy, Latin America, China and Japan we return to Western soil with the great music of J.S. Bach.
The corresponding stage installation "Resonances" by Gudrun Birkholz underlines the motto of this concert.
