Eight years separate the two brothers Alejandro & Stephan Gutiérrez. Son of an Ecuadorian mother and a Swiss father, the Hermanos Gutiérrez draw in their Latin roots a certain scenery of emotions. When one of them has a melody and a note is missing, the other completes it. They share an unspoken understanding through which the two souls can connect. And so they find a musical balance, their harmony.

After the two albums "8 Años" and "El Camino de mi Alma" recorded in Berlin, the two brothers continued their journey with two more albums (recorded in Zurich) "Hoy como Ayer" and "Hijos del Sol". Inspired by travels through the vastness of the desert landscapes of Mexico and the Southwest of the United States, the Hermanos Gutiérrez present their music. The bond as brothers and the shared longing for places where you feel connected to nature lead them to express their own experiences and adventures through their music. With their melodies they evoke memories of the past and tell us stories and incidents that make them feel alive and part of the whole.

A soundtrack that takes the listener*s on a visual journey to places, a tribute to the moments in life that enrich and connect us. "Our music is made with love, passion and honesty and through that we want to connect with the world. When we were children, our grandfather Luis Gutiérrez told us about his favorite song Nuestro Juramento. This song was sung in the 50's by an Ecuadorian artist, Julio Jaramillos, and featured Rosalino Quintero on guitar. Our grandfather described this song to us with so much love and nostalgia, and it was these moments with him that paved the way for how we listen and play our music today. We carry those memories with us in our hearts and through our music."
