Heinrich Schliemann is one of the most famous archaeologists in the world. The exhibition shows his eventful life: Schliemann traveled to almost all continents, changed his citizenship and residence several times and was one of the richest merchants in Europe in the mid-19th century. He was one of the richest merchants in Europe in the middle of the 19th century. It was not until his middle years that he became interested in archaeology and eventually sought out mythological Troy.
