Guided Exhibition Tours "Unser Mut. Juden in Europa 1945-48"
Public Guided Tours
For the first time, an exhibition presents Jewish contemporary history in the years after the Shoah in a pan-European perspective. From Białystok via Frankfurt to Amsterdam, from Berlin via Budapest to Bari.
The exhibition tells how the survivors reacted to the experience of violence and took their fate into their own hands. Against the backdrop of current crises, it reflects on the immediate post-war period as a time marked by flight, violence and the will to survive, in which Jews founded new, autonomous communities, their own state and also developed concepts, perspectives and agreements under international law that are still valid today.
The exhibition "Our Courage. Jews in Europe 1945-48" was conceived by the Jewish Museum Frankfurt am Main. As a second stop, it can be seen at the Documentation Center Flight, Expulsion, Reconciliation in Berlin.
