bir müzik gösterisi - a musical journey to the 80s, with Aziza A. and Turgay Ayaydınlı
In the series "GAZINO NIGHT 80s" the attitude towards life of the Gazinos from the past is brought to life in today's Berlin. Turkish music and hits of the 80s are the focus. There will be dancing, drinking and singing at Gazino. A celebration for the whole family.

Hosts of the evenings are the two greats of the Berlin music scene, Aziza A. and Turgay Ayaydınlı. With GAZINO NIGHT, they translate the spirit of a traditional Gazino into a contemporary form, bridging the gap between the glamorous times of Istanbul and the new beginnings in Berlin of the guest worker generation to today's polyphonic music scene of musicians with Turkish roots living in Berlin. The oriental dance of Zadiel Sasmaz or Sabuha Salaam may not be missing thereby just as Raki, beer and wine.
And: No night without star guests. The two soloists from Berlin's Turkish music scene, Ebru Deyirmencioglu and Kahraman Kilinc with their repertoire of Turkish, German and English songs from the 80s, will be accompanied by an outstanding band led by Aziza A. and Turgay Ayaydınlı. Each of the evenings will also feature guest appearances by Cenk Sahin, Ebru Yazici and Sabuha Salaam.
"That's when everyone went. Because that was the opportunity to get up to date on gossip, to show up in the community and for one or the other wife to find out where the hubby likes to sneak off to in the evening. The families who could afford the tickets preened themselves out, took their kids along and had an unforgettable evening. Even if this often ended with drunken husbands, annoyed wives and children falling asleep on chairs pushed together. It was always an experience, especially for us kids."
