The BVG Orchestra is older than the BVG itself. A smaller music group, consisting of tram company employees, has existed since 1890. It all really started with a concert in front of the management of the Great Berlin Tram.

In the meantime, the orchestra has reached a remarkable musical level with a varied program. The spectrum ranges from baroque to swing, from symphonic works to classics from the operetta world to light swing and film music and always with a lot of entertainment value.
