International Women's Day at the Deutsches Theater (DT): For more than 100 years, women have been fighting and striking on March 8th for their rights, visibility, and solidarity.

To kick off this year's International Women's Day on March 7th, a working group of DT staff members has curated a feminist program.

In the Box, the film *A Day Without Women* (2024) by Pamela Hogan about the historic women's strike in Iceland in 1975 will be screened.

Afterwards, Almut Zilcher will read texts by Nino Haratischwili in a joint event with the author. Julischka Eichel and Abak Safaei-Rad will host a live edition of their podcast *Kantinengespräche* (Canteen Conversations) in the bar, where they will discuss with guests from various departments of the DT: What is it like to work as a woman in the theater?

Afterwards, everyone is invited to celebrate the arrival of March 8th with DJ FRZNTE. All are welcome!
