In the years 1910-1914 an excavation by the Royal Museums in Berlin took place in the sanctuary of Hera on the island of Samos. Numerous finds from the excavation came to Berlin, only some of them by way of the official division of finds.

The object biographies of selected exhibits from Samos, including large-format marble sculptures and bronze statuettes, are presented and discussed in the discussion.
