Based on Russian fairy tales, the story of the Firebird is a tribute to courage and humanity, congenially set to music by Igor Stravinsky. With the performance of this work, the Berliner Philharmoniker and Kirill Petrenko, together with the UN Refugee Agency, want to contribute to the support of 82.4 million people who are currently on the run. You too can help: With every ticket purchase, you support UN Refugee Assistance, the national partner of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), with a donation. The proceeds from ticket sales will directly benefit Refugee Aid. There will be other donation opportunities on site.
