Tony Rizzi and the Bad Habits

How can we get out of the head and back into the body? The duet deals with the interrelation between loneliness, isolation and fear in a consumer driven society.

Veranstaltungen in Berlin: Even crazy people want to be invited to the party

Choreographer, dancer, and multi-talented artist Tony Rizzi repeatedly uses moments of everyday life as a source of inspiration in this  pieces. Inspired by a quote from his favorite film The Hours, Even crazy people want to be invited to the party is a tribute to the diversity of life.

Drawing on the classical European ideal of equals bound together by the bonds of joy and friendship, as formulated by Friedrich Schiller in his „Ode to Joy“, Rizzi asks how and why things  are getting worse and how we best navigate through this chaos.

And he counts on dance, dance, dance, on high heels and exuberant shamelessness.
