For butoh dancer Makiko Tominaga and musician Carlé Costa, the Lion Fountain in Tempelhof's Lehnepark becomes an inspirational "source." The shallow fountain made of shell limestone was created by Elisabeth Hellwig in 1909. Six heads of ambiguous felines peek out between two shallow basins. Next to the heads, only the paws of the predators can be seen.
