The Crows have finally released their third album "Reason Enough", a project that took the band the longest to complete. For their new album, James Cox (vocals), Steve Goddard (guitar), Jith Amarasinghe (bass) and Sam Lister (drums) swapped their usual studio in East London for a studio in a former church.
They set up in the church's crypt, which offered a unique atmosphere. With dozens of ideas, they then returned to London to refine them.
The result is a concise 10-track album that shows the Crows' sonic versatility.
Their 2019 debut album "Silver Tongues" presented them as a punk band. The 2022 follow-up "Beware Believers" was also very punk-influenced.
On "Reason Enough," the band's punk spirit remains intact, but they sound more sophisticated than before.
The Crows have never sounded so mature. Reason Enough builds from tight guitar riffs to expansive reverb and synths, culminating in a drum explosion that sets a dramatic scene for what's to come.
